The Tattoo Removal Shop is a medical laser clinic operated by Mike Towey, MD.
Here's a little history. He grew up in Rochester, MN. He attended college at St John's University, and then attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. After doing an internship at Hennepin County Medical Center, he completed his residency in Emergency Medicine in South Central Los Angeles. He chose that area because of its history of violence. He wasn't disappointed. The emergency room there saw an average of 48 gunshot wounds per week. Something you don't hear about in the press. While there, he was awarded best senior resident. During his senior year, of the thousands of emergency medicine residents across the country, he scored the highest in the nation on the nation-wide final board examination. He is board certified and practiced emergency medicine in the Twin Cities for 14 years. Now, with the Tattoo Removal Shop, he is focused exclusively on the art of laser tattoo removal.
