- How do you determine the price to remove my tattoo?
- The price is based on the amount of ink we need to remove. We don't guess and call tattoos small, medium, or large. We trace the shape of your tattoo out onto a piece of transparency grid paper, outlining only those areas of skin covered by ink. The price is based off of that measured area.
- How much does it cost?
- To completely remove a professional tattoo, without risking side effects, takes approximately 10-14 treatments. If your tattoo is homemade or faded, or you have had previous treatments, your tattoo will come off sooner. Dr. Towey has a lot of experience judging how many more treatments you are likely to need and can give you an estimate at the time of your consultation. You have the option of either paying by the treatment or paying for the entire removal. When you pay for the entire removal, you have access to unlimited treatments. You come back as many times as you need until your tattoo is gone. For a standard, professionally made tattoo the final total price for the entire removal is typically $1900-$3800. That amount is equivalent to approximately $150-$300 per treatment. If you can afford to pay the full price up front you receive a 10% discount making the final total price typically $1700-$3400. Most of us don't have that much in our bank account, so most people opt to make monthly payments spread out over 12-18 months. This, more affordable option, is done through us. There is no credit check; there is no additional interest. These monthly payments are typically $150-$200 per month. If this is still more than you would like to pay on a monthly basis, there is a third option. If you click on the link at the bottom of this page, you will be sent to a finance company called "My Medical Loan." They can give you a loan to help with the removal. This will make your monthly payments less and spread your payments out over a longer period of time. They do charge interest however. The consultation to determine the price and discuss your options is free.

From our standpoint, your final results are a reflection on our abilities and this option ensures that your tattoo will go away completely.
